What you need.
Probably nothing new. It runs on the PC you have and works with the scanner you already own.
- Computer
- A Windows 11 PC (64-bit) with 8 or more cores, 24 GB of memory and an SSD. A graphics card is optional and makes it faster and more accurate.
- Download
- An installer of about 367 MB. On first run it downloads its components once (about 6 GB).
- Documents
- Any TWAIN scanner, or files you already have: PDF, TIFF, JPEG, PNG, BMP and GIF.
- No scanner yet?
- A built-in demo scanner lets you run a full scan without any hardware.

Reading happens on your PC. Each document is then named and filed as a searchable PDF in your own folders or Content Central, and a job can also send it to SharePoint or OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or Nucleus One.

Start from your real documents.
Set up a job from a folder of the documents you actually receive, with a few of each kind. It learns your layouts instead of generic ones.

Naming
Name files from the data.
Build folder and file names from the fields it reads, like vendor, date and invoice number, so every file lands where people expect it.
Archive
Pick the right output.
Each document can go out as a searchable PDF, or archive-grade PDF/A, with a data file holding every value it captured and a text file.

Confirm, do not retype.

What do I need to run it?
A Windows 11 (64-bit) PC with at least 8 cores (16 threads), 24 GB of memory and 50 GB free on an SSD. A graphics card is optional: with one, plan on 32 GB of memory and 75 GB free. The installer is about 367 MB, and on first run CapturePoint downloads its components once (about 6 GB). The full requirements and the speed test are in the help guide (help.ademero.com).
